As we look forward to our May Senior Day ceremony, we celebrate the members of the December 2018 graduating class who are beginning to make their mark on the world, including Brent Winslow, who was the Senior Day student speaker.
Winslow’s address focused on leadership, “the kind that recognizes the special responsibilities our law degrees confer on us,” he told graduates. “A law degree comes with power—the power to shape events and change lives, and the power to fix the problems this country and the world face. …That task, as lawyers, falls on our shoulders. When future generations look back at us, or when we look back at ourselves, what will they say we did with a University of Michigan law degree?”
Winslow will join Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in New York as an associate.
